Advanced cold isostatic pressing (CIP) and hot isostatic pressing (HIP) sintering processes were employed to fabricate high-performance silicon nitride ceramic products, achieving material properties that meet the international advanced standards for similar products. Customized metal-ceramic composite components were developed according to specific application requirements.
Silicon nitride ceramic balls and bearings offer the following advantages:
1. Low density and lightweight—59% lighter than steel balls—reducing centrifugal force during bearing operation, thereby minimizing friction.
2. It has a low coefficient of thermal expansion—just 1/4 that of steel—and can withstand drastic temperature changes.
3. The elastic modulus is 40% higher than that of steel, resulting in less elastic deformation under stress and effectively reducing machine tool vibrations.
4. Low coefficient of friction, high-temperature resistance, and long service life.
5. Non-magnetic, electrically insulating, and free from adhesive wear.
Primarily applied in: high-speed/supercritical bearings, high-precision bearings, and bearings resistant to both high and low temperatures; also suitable for use as valve balls and measuring balls in chemical pumps, high-temperature pumps, and metering pumps.
Product Application Areas:
01/Extra-hard and Wear-resistant
Features: Ceramic ball bearings offer advantages such as high limiting speeds, excellent precision retention, low starting torque, high rigidity, superior dry-running performance, and extended service life. They are ideally suited for maintaining high precision and reliable long-term operation under high-speed, high-temperature, corrosive, and radiation-prone conditions.
Application: Precision machinery industry operating under harsh conditions such as high temperature, high vacuum, corrosion, and high speed.
02/High and Low Temperature Resistance
Features: Silicon nitride ceramics exhibit excellent properties such as high-temperature resistance, high hardness, high toughness, impact resistance, oxidation resistance, and self-lubrication without the need for oil.
Application: Commonly used in high-temperature and harsh environments, such as the casting industry.
03/Corrosion Resistance
Feature: Silicon nitride ceramics exhibit high-temperature mechanical strength, resistance to aluminum melt corrosion, a low thermal expansion coefficient, and non-wetting properties with molten aluminum and other non-ferrous metals, making them an ideal material for aluminum casting risers and other metal casting applications.
Application: Aluminum casting components and consumables.
04/Magnetic-free Electrical Insulation
Feature: Silicon nitride ceramics exhibit non-magnetic and electrical insulation properties, making them ideal for applications where high strength and sealing performance of gaskets are critical.
Applications: photovoltaic industry, precision electronics sector, and aerospace field.
05 High Thermal Conductivity, Low Coefficient of Thermal Expansion
Feature: Silicon nitride ceramics exhibit high flexural strength, excellent toughness, long service life, and outstanding resistance to both high and low temperatures.
Applications: Automotive, New Energy Industry.
